in MLB will be made public any minute....
To be like Landis, Selig would have to do something like keep Asian ballplayers out of the Majors.Sounds like A-Rod and his people have come to their senses and are negotiating the terms of his suspension now.
Sucks. I wanted to see Selig make like Mountain Landis.
Me too. I can't wait for them to move on to another sport, such as football.I'm already bored to death by the whole thing.

I've said this all along: The biggest liars/hypocrites in this entire scandal are the writers and media.I swear they drag these things out for no other reason that ratings, internet hits etc....I can't decide where the real interest lies, protecting the integrity of MLB or making as much $$$ as possible from the stories themselves.
Or basketball....
A Rod takes a deal, IMO.
He sits a 1.5 and gets to comeback for the remainder of his contract. If he appeals and fights I see MLB having a hard on for him and they go for a lifetime ban....
Therefore on what's God's green earth did McGwire, who admitted to steroids use, gets to be a hitting coach while A-Rod gets life? The media -imposed hypocrisy is certainly nauseating. I am going to throw up.
McGwire never broke any rules, and no one cared about his open use of steroids. They cheered and cheered and cheered. Why should he be banned? Therefore on what's God's green earth did McGwire, who admitted to steroids use, gets to be a hitting coach while A-Rod gets life? The Ban would be from by the moral clause - not the PED usage.
Mac fessed up, apologized, etc... All is good.
A-Rod lied, interferred with investigation, etc.... Not so good.
"They" say he is working on a deal, so he has apparently owned up to his stupidity, so hopefully he'll just get a suspension and will be able to come back and play again. I suspect MLB is trying to suspend him for all of 2014 and he's trying to knock it down to about 100 games - or half of next year...
