So sad that MARYLAND is going to be a Big 10 team.

Md fans hate it. They are the first program to be kicking and screaming against the move.

This last ACC season will feel like a funeral dirge for the Terrapin faithful.

The imbeciles in charge decided to spend more money than Texas year after year without any revenues coming in. They made the federal government look fiscally responsible.

And now the Terrapins are in such dire financial straits they are selling their souls for CASH.

But, I do respect them for telling the truth.

Every other team who has moved lately uses some lame excuse.
Nobody ever wants to admit that the main reason is Cash money.
Maryland is refreshingly honest.
They freely admit it is 100% about the cash.

Not every MD fan hates it. There are quite a few that hate it, but there are plenty that are happy with the move. A lot of MD fans are happy to get away from the All Carolina Conference. It does suck losing the basketball rivalries. Debbie Yow ran this athletic department into the ground. She is now at NC State and Terps fans couldn't be more happy about it.

Cuse was down 38-32 at halftime to Cornell but now have outscored them 47-20 in the 2nd half. The rout in on.

I was really disappointed in Wells decision making on those last two possessions with the game on the line.

Jabari's better than advertised. He's the best player on Duke by a mile. Rodney Hood's also improved under Coach K.

Hood is good. Jabari Parker is smooth. Together they combined for 44 points against Davidson. Davidson is no slouch. They make the NCAA field just about every year. But Parker is very accomplished and polished. He is better than advertised imho. Duke is under sized this year and he will need to play BIG.

Verizon Center to host ACC tournament in 2016

"We are excited to bring the ACC tournament back to the nation's capital in 2016,” Swofford said in a statement. “Verizon Center is a tremendous showcase for our event, and the Washington D.C. area is an appealing tourist destination for our member institutions, as well as the alumni and fans of our teams."

If SU had a choice, MSG would be one, the Verizon Center would be two for an ACC tournament. SU played G-Town a lot there.

I'm surprised to see the ACC tournament back in DC.....cept maybe as a good bye kiss to Maryland.
