Pardon the pun, eh?
All in All, gotta respect Brooks Laich.

Thats a good story, really cool. I wonder why they left out the part where Laich was the one who slashed their tires in the first place.
On Versus last night they had the Junior Seau show on where he does odd sports jobs and it was one where he worked with the Capitals. It seems like they are a really good bunch of guys.
mmm...well, i liked brooks way before that moment, it just helps. so, my reason for liking him is shallow and whatever, but any chicks here hafta agree.

Jesus....what happened to this thread......
oyyyy
For your benefit, I'll say that Laich demonstrated some serious altrusim there. I don't know that I would have done what he did under normal circumstances, and I'm almost certain I wouldn't have after losing a game 7.
Cool story.
...and then in the real world:
Good Samaritan stabbed in NYC while helping couple, left t - Local News - WRGB CBS 6 Albany
Who does that? Seriously. Why would you stab a man who was trying to help you? That's so pointless. So cruel.
And if you see a man bleeding on the sidewalk, you should not only call 911, but you should see if you can patch up the wound, and, if necessary, perform CPR. Now I said I probably wouldn't have helped the folks with the blown tire, but this man's life was at stake. Something should have been done. It's just inhuman not to do something.
