But both arguments could still be correct. Just because his starting point may have been closer to “crazy” than most, doesn’t mean that the hit didn’t adjust his placement on that scale. And just because others may have been hit worse and may not have been effected as bad, doesn’t mean the hit didn’t effect HIM. Head trauma is unique for everyone.

Oh absolutely. Obviously, that hit had some effect and everybody is different but it has been used as an excuse for his behavior and that I just can't agree with. Even without the hit, he was mentally weak and would likely have gone down a similar path, imo. Dude was awesomely talented on the field, can't take that away from him but he was always troubled to some degree. There will always be people like that.
