I think it would be to the NFL's advantage to support the AAF. They could use it as a test for new rules. They could use it as a training ground for refs. The AAF plays a very similar style to the NFL, so there would be advantages other than allowing fringe players a chance to hone their skills.
Yep but right now it’s against the cba

I think the AAF is fine. Attendance is what was expected and TV ratings are actually better than predicted. Plus that $250 million dollar boost earlier this year.

The AAF should be the minor leagues of the NFL.

NBA has the G-League and baseball has a minor league system.

They should've got draftkings and FanDuel on board from day one for the degenerates. I tapped out when they couldn't even give me a box score. No in game stats to speak of (have no idea of late because I haven't seen it)

Seems like with 250 million we could manage that one.

But since state to state gambling is still in limbo DK and FanDuel are the gamblers legal means of giving a damn about a mediocre product.

They took away my reason to give a damn.

Lack of boxscores piss me off.

Problem is... the guy who fronted the $250M is the same guy who is now saying that they will probably pull the plug after this weekend.

It's so inexcusable in this day and age it aggravated me to not backing the product.

Why is the NFL so popular? Flipping everyone does fantasy is a big factor. Sports is becoming increasingly regionalized from a standpoint of people stopping their day to watch it. I certainly don't have an immediate care for the locations of the teams they chose. They completely shut out most of the biggest population areas of the country with their locations.

So.......give the fantasy nuts a reason to keep their football going

But no I can't even get a damn box score much less anything remotely approaching a viable fantasy option

Won't get any argument from me on any of your points.

But when has the NFL given two shits what actually makes a little sense?

I have seen a buncha leagues come and go, most notably Vince's XFL, but I'd go to one of these games and it helps fill the spring time since the NFL is on their break.
