Do kids still read this book? I read it when I was in 3rd or 4th grade and loved it, but I have not seen it anywhere since. I am not sure it will work for the target audience if none of them are familiar with it.

You're probably right. Probably about the same as Ender's Game. I read Wrinkle when I was a child and again as an adult. Never read Ender's Game until I was an adult and not long after that the movie came out. It wasn't really bad but nowhere as good as the book.

Hopefully they do a better job adapting this to the big screen. I didn't like how they did Ender's Game
