The Wolves are not better than the Grizz.

In 2-3 years the Wolves could leapfrog some of the older teams.

But, on paper, not Memphis.

As for Denver, it all depends on MPJ.

His contract will sink or save the franchise.

If Edwards continues to get better they could be really good but they lost a lot of depth when they added Gob.

And the West is loaded.

What would it take to be able to call the Gobert trade a success for Minnesota given all they gave up?

Anything short of WCF is a failure.

And I just can’t imagine them being that good.

They were able to push Memphis last year because of their athleticism and switch ability.

They pretty much just dealt that away.

That’s a contender move. When you give up they many picks and role players you better be in position to be right at the top and for years to come. I can’t say that about the TWolves but if Edwards can evolve into a superstar, they have a shot…not a championship, just to be a contender. Lets hope that move isn’t one that derails a young team and sets them back. That would be awful with so much promise

I’ll buy into the Clippers for their overall roster, but those expecting Kawhi and Paul George to be good as new may be setting themselves up for disappointment. Both are on the wrong side of 30…

Lakers are more of a dysfunctional family than a basketball team, while Portland is a play-in team at best that frankly needs lottery picks.

The KAT/Gobert fit defensively will be a big question mark, but can you really say they competed with Memphis? Losing in six after blowing leads in three of those games to me doesn’t really qualify.

They needed to try something else.

Sure they did.

Have to be good enough to get a lead in order to blow it.

I am fine with trying something else.

Paying an astronomical price to acquire Rudy Gobert and turn your all star center into a jump shooting 4 who will struggle to guard his position isn’t the move.
