Just because other teams play make up games (the first two games you mentioned) or a rivalry game (the last game) doesn’t mean the two teams playing for a conference championship two teams earned is part of that.

No, conference championship games are not part of the regular season. If a team gets a post season ban, they are not eligible to play in the CCG. See Ohio State and Penn State in 2012.
