Miami didn’t play 13 games the last two years in the regular season.

Thanks for researching before posting. LOL
You are right about the 7-6 season. You are wrong about 2017. They played a conference title game. Which is a part of the regular season. Bowl Games and Playoffs are the postseason. So my bad it was 26-11 instead of 26-12. Same difference.

No, a conference title game is not part of the regular season.

Yes it is...It's the final week of the regular season. There are still other College Football games being played outside them.
Just some examples of games being played the same week as the SEC title game this previous year.

Drake vs Iowa State
Marshall vs Virginia Tech
Stanford vs Cal

It's the final week of the regular season that teams use to reschedule games. Thanks for playing. You can now correct your flawed thinking.

Did you research that line of thinking before you posted?

Only a complete moron thinks conference championship games are part of the regular season. Congratulations on being a complete moron.

Just because other teams play make up games (the first two games you mentioned) or a rivalry game (the last game) doesn’t mean the two teams playing for a conference championship two teams earned is part of that.

Can you at least pretend to not be a retard?

Agreeing with a Mountaineer is like a Hokie taking a drive through Morgantown and feeling all is great - just doesn't happen. That said...

No, conference championship games are not part of the regular season. If a team gets a post season ban, they are not eligible to play in the CCG. See Ohio State and Penn State in 2012.

With approximately 6 months and a few weeks, college football will be upon us once again. Will 2019 kick start the return of the Miami Hurricanes as a national power? Here is a look at the Hurricanes 2019 college football schedule.

View attachment 198510

View attachment 198511

Aug. 31: vs. Florida (Camping World Stadium, Orlando)

Sept. 7: at North Carolina

Sept. 14: Bethune-Cookman

Sept. 21: Central Michigan

Oct. 5: Virginia Tech

Oct. 11: Virginia

Oct. 19: Georgia Tech

Oct. 26: at Pittsburgh

Nov. 2: at Florida State

Nov. 9: Louisville

Nov. 23: at FIU (Marlins Park)

Nov. 30: at Duke

If they can't get 8 or 9 wins out of that schedule, you can consider 2019 a "wash-out."

Has nothing to do with a hurricane, but it's a fitting mascot for any Florida school.

You drive that parkway from Orlando to Miami and there's millions of them fuckers on the side of the road.

They eat grubs out of the dirt...fitting for miama fans.

Every time I have a bunch of those poking around in my yard, I know it's time to go get a bag of bug stuff for the grass.

The games themselves are scheduled in advance, but the participants aren't known until each team's regularly scheduled games have been completed (except in the case of Navy, which plays Army after the AAC championship game).

The games actually should be considered an extension of the regular season.

Well the bowl games are scheduled in advance, but the participants aren’t known until each team’s regularly scheduled games have been completed. So why wouldn’t those be considered regular season games?

Again, if a team has a post-season ban, they are not eligible for post season games including CCGs.

With the exception of a handful of minor bowl games, bowl participants are not decided until after conference championship games are played, and there are usually at least two weeks between the last regular season games and the bowl games.

Again, if a team has a post-season ban, they are not eligible for post season games including CCGs.
Conference championship games help decide bowl participation, so teams that are ineligible for the post-season cannot participate in such games.

None of that means conference championships are part of the regular season. It’s really common sense.
