If most of you are like me,you like to get NHL memorabilia.
Rather than going to trade shows and dropping money for admission and then dropping anywhere from $25-$50 bucks for an autograph on an 8x10,here's a good suggestion if you're lucky enough to get it in your area.
The Legends of Hockey tour.We have been fortunate enough to have them play our law enforcement team here in Windsor,and they have played at the Joe in Detroit a few times.
Tickets are usually about $20 and most proceeds go to charity,then after the game they have an auction and raffle at a local pub.
I have been lucky enough to get autographs from Maurice Richard and Yvan Cournoyer(who were guests referrees in Detroit).I also have Dale Hawerchuk(jersey signed same here he got inducted in hall),Dionne,Perrault,Shutt,Lafleur,etc.
Go early,get by players bench and these guys sign most stuff.Most kids that are taken have no clue who these guys are.
Just brought this up,cause my son brought his buddy over today and was showing it off,and he asked where we got most of it.
