A radio report this morning saod Matthews is getting pins removed this week

I heard on a local radio report this morning that Matthews was getting the pins taken out of his thumb this week and that is what had to happen before he could play. The report indicated that it may be possible that he could even play this coming Monday night.

It would be nice if this is accurate we will just have to wait and see. If this will all happen the Packers may hold him out anyway as the defense has been playing well along with the Bears not being the same team that started the year with the injuries that they have had.

good - no sense in rushing him back into service

the D has been holding up since is absence so there really isn't a need for him now

Stories I saw said pins out next week Monday and he could possibly play vs Eagles.

I read they come out on Monday and he could play within a week or two after that. I would be quite shocked if he was available for the Bears game

Yea. Let him heal. Let these young guys figure it out and dhow what they can do. Then get Clay and Lattimore firing off the edges and make a run at the Lombardi!

Matthews told ESPN that he will have the pins removed Monday. He could return vs. PHI best case scenario, worst case would be for Thanksgiving
