As much respect as we all claim to have for Dr. Tom,why do the majority insist that he isnt smart enough to choose a talented coach?

He hand picked Solich and Pelini and obviously neither one is worth a fuck at coaching .

I thought the childish shit Bo pulls was a thing of the past ~ I was jumping the gun on that also. Tom had the reputation of never winning the big one, and many were not happy with that. Bo not only has that problem, he also as recruiting and development with player problems, failing to game-plan and adjust on the fly, hiring untrained assistants, and fighting with refs, media, and fans. Watch Sports Center tonight ~ Bo will be a feature story for all the wrong reasons. Oh and to answer your question T.O. didn't always made the best decisions - like running for Governor.

Here are my thoughts on the matter.

First off I thought Bo was doing an exceptional job of keeping his cool since he hasnt been able to do an interview for weeks without being repeatedly asked about his job. Personally I would have told the first reporter to fuck off and stuck to my guns every time I was asked.

Second you are absolutely correct that TO has never embarrassed the program but that didnt save himfrom the fans constantly second guessing his every move. He was ridiculed to the point that he interviewed for the Colorado job at one point. Wouldnt that have been cool, then we could only brag about the 70s nattys.

Third check out Bos record vs tOSU, Mich, Mich ST, and Penn St.since joining the B1G. Just my opinion but Im happy with that.

At some point we have to open our eyes and realize that we probably wont compete for the National Championship every season.
