Gentlemen and lady, speed kills! Is it surprising that Alex Smith had his best season last year in part because of the speedy threats in Kansas City? Right now we have Richardson and that's it when the question is comparable speed at wideout. JC is more the quick guy rather than a speed threat and of course both are hurt/injured. Reed is a much less the threat that he can be because we don't have guys who command attention in these positions. So let me ask you guys and lady...is the lack of speed a real issue for this team overall, but especially so within the receiving corps?

I think they have the speed with Richardson. I know this isn't the popular answer with many but Smith just isn't doing a good job at getting the ball downfield. Look how wide open VD was last week and Smith tried to go to him but missed by a mile.

We are back in the same old QB troubles we have been in for years. Griffin gave us a one year break and Cousin's gave us promise but the FTO, maybe the coaching staff and a large part of the fan base did not want a competent QB. Sad but true.

I don’t think speed is the issue. I think the issue was at QB. Let’s see how our backup does.
