This is a double edged sword for me.

On one hand I can understand why this is happening. Tampa should their cards and Vince too his ball and ran into "security".

On the other. By closing off the arena. Vince just fucked over people who are paying out about thousands of dollars to see it. Yah I know there will be refunds but that is not the point.

I just don't think it will be mania without the crowd and elaborate entrances.

Not sure how you can say the WWE fucked over fans though. They can’t hold a WrestleMania with an Indy level crowd now even if he wanted to.

It's weird though. What do they do with all the stories they've built up? Do they just stall until the new WM date or go thru with them now in some fashion and build new stories? Being so close to the show to have this happen put them in a weird spot. Like if this happened a month ago, it'd be easy to scrap and forge ahead with whatever

That’s a good question. Some have been built to be coming to a head in a few weeks when it was originally scheduled. The Lesnar and Drew match though I think can be postponed and just give Drew a mini feud in the mean time until they decide on when and where to finally have it.

WRESTLEMANIA® TOO BIG FOR JUST ONE NIGHT

STAMFORD, Conn. – March 18, 2020 – WrestleMania, for the first time ever, will be held as a two-night event streaming on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and available on pay-per-view.

The two-night pop culture extravaganza will be hosted by three-time Super Bowl Champion Rob Gronkowski. Tune in to SmackDown this Friday at 8 pm ET on FOX to see what Gronk has in store for WrestleMania.

As previously announced, only essential personnel will be on the closed set during the production of WrestleMania.

According to WWE.com, here is the schedule of matches:

Saturday (April 4th):
* WWE Championship Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Brock Lesnar
* NXT Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley
* The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles
* Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins

Sunday (April 5th):
* WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns vs. Bill Goldberg
* RAW Women’s Championship Match: Shayna Baszler vs. Becky Lynch
* John Cena vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt

As of now, each match is being advertised as taking place at the WWE Performance Center. That could obviously change. Also, other matches are likely going to take place, including Edge vs. Randy Orton, but the dates and locations of those haven’t been announced as of this writing.

Be interesting considering they taped Wrestlemania yesterday and today so obviously there is a replacement it’s just no one knows yet because I’m sure everyone’s afraid to leak spoilers because it’s such a small crew running.
