Nope, prior to meeting some dumb ass fans on cBS I actually liked the Tigers. I would have actually rooted for the Tigers had they advanced, i'm a Twins fan first and an AL Central fan second. The only Michigan team I hate is the Red Wings, always have always will! One difference in the sports towns, Detroit is a shit hole, Minneapolis/St Paul is not... But yeah as far as the teams aside from maybe Gophers hockey and the Wild having a chance if we get some goaltending you're right neither state has much to offer in the way of Championship teams. But nice for you guys the Tigers and Lions appear much closer than the Twins and Vikes, the Wolves and Pistons both suck...

you don't understand the detriot area...less than 1 million people live there. since the 70s.its all out laid.suburbs. we only go into detriot to see red wings,lions and tigers..and the auto show.
but still compared to st paul it looks like paris

Considering I have been visiting Twin Cities a couple years now. Sorry Doug, pretty damn cool up here. Fighting the wife on moving here to be closer to grand daughter. Way nicer than motor city.
