Stop watching tennis lol

2 more homers. McCann went yard couple batters later before there was even an out

I love tennis. Plus this is the only time I get to watch tennis until saturday due to work.

WTF happened? I saw the Headley HR and was watching some tennis after that. Turned it back to see 8-0. With the way the Yanks been playing lately I was shocked
Guthrie is perennially bad vs Left handed batters. Yankees left handed batters in Yankee stadium are, and always were, going to destroy him. Combine that with a decline in velocity, and I think he's done as a legit major league starter.

So they're just going to leave Guthrie in and let him take this beating?

As long as they can. Denny Matthews put the O/U for Guthrie at 6 HR's before the game. Brandon Finnegan just got called up as protection- will be about the only interesting thing to watch for me. That and maybe hope Guthrie gives up more runs so he gets DFA'd.

last 2 games make me want to puke!
but it is only MAY teams like the royals might be planning a parade already..
Ausmus is terrible with the pitching staff. plus lobstein always behind the count 2-0 doesn't help.

cepedes,JD, castellonos, when ever men on base..they are swinging at the 1st pitch. pitchers know this. swinging at the ball in the dirt. down 0 -1 every at bat when men on base!!
cepedes needs to go after this year. he is never clutch when men on base

Twins brought the bats this afternoon!!

But Nolasco is on the mound so things will likely still get interesting.

Don't like that the Twins just stopped scoring again.

break up the Twins!!!!

Tigers looked like a tired team just off the plane. not much effort today.
need to snap out of it.... wish we could maybe face the twins or Indians and get some easy wins and get back on track..... miggy had a day of to rest. tomorrow should be better

Because you've never overreacted to any of your teams playing well early in the season. Nope. Never.

lol lame excuses. both teams were on the east coast yesterday and played 1 pm games. I'm pretty sure Tampa to Oakland is a longer trip than Detroit to Oaklan

This is why I lovebaseball. The usual losers Mets, Astros, and cubs are doing well. The Astros are awesome! Everyone in the al west was excited when they came to division for easy wins. Now they are a top five team. The twins are eight games above .500 da fuc? The al east is arguably the worst division in baseball, and the athletics are cellar dwellers! Out of the Mets, cubs, Astros, and twins I see three contenders and one pretender.

Well I was one for two on picks for players to break out this season. Nailed Harper and wrong about j hey, although there's still time. If heyward can't break out playing in THAT lineup, he's never going to. So far the braves have absolutely won that trade.
