OSU is not a juggernaut this season....which scares me. If the Buckeyes roll over the Spartans, Wolverines, and Iowa....I would think that the people in Columbus might start to think about finding (or starting) a new conference. Can't be ranked number one playing weak competition, year after year.

Or OSU can get the B1G to convince Wolves to transfer to the MAC. I think in 3 or 4 years, they could dominate that Conference. Of course Harbaugh will be long gone by then, having ditched college football after a 2 year stint at UM. So far all Harbaugh has accomplished is be able to do a good job coaching A ROSTER OF KIDS PUT TOGETHER BY THE GUY WHO CAME BEFORE HIM. That's right dougie boy. One thing they teach us at ESPN (and everywhere else but at your cheerleader classes) is that the name of the game, in college football, is RECRUITING. So let's see it "Jimbo's" style attracts those top of the line recruits. Is getting K-Rod a world changer? No. But he is better than hoping Bruce Rondon or some other schmuck they have would turn into a decent closer. For the money - and player(s) given up - not a bad move by the Tigers.

BTW dougie. Do you know the difference between 'signing a free agent' and 'making a trade' ???? See - Detroit got Francisco Rodriguez through a TRADE with the Brewers. They did not SIGN him. He was already signed to a contract with the Brewers, which is now transferred to Detroit. Most 10-11 year olds understand that doug.
