Was 4-7 now 9-7, 5-0 in last 7 starts, last 4 have just been nasty. Looks like he is shaking off that soph slump. Gordon about back, moving Zobrist (who is hitting .333 as a Royal, .440 at the K) to replace Infante will be nice.

Twins piss away a good chance tonight. But with how bad Baltimore and Tampa screwed up during both series and how lucky the Twins got, I'm very happy with a 6-4 road trip. Especially after getting broomed out of the Bronx at the start.

We have a lot of home games coming up next month and the only 3 playoff teams we play are Houston for 6, KC for 5 (the final 3 of which they will have clinched everything by) and 4 with the Angels (all at home)

I'm cautiously optimistic.

Ventura is a bona-fide stud, his problems have always been mental.

I was watching him pitch while sitting in a bar at KC Airport yesterday. His stuff was filthy, and he seemed to be able to locate it where he wanted all day.

Royals offense is incredibly weak 7-8-9 right now.

Gordon's bat and glove is definitely missing.

Rios needs to straight up be DFA'd. I don't even buy he can hit LHP at this point. Let Eibner have his spot. Absolutely doesn't deserve a playoff roster spot. At least Infante plays a slick 2B off the bench.

1B, and Hosmer is obviously blocking him unless you move Hosmer to RF, which is an... adventure if you want to call it that.

Mental? had a great rookie season...he just took all the "ace" talk to his head this year, a kid. Bringing in Cueto, relieved that presure and since he is back to pitching great. Got to have a mentor.
