Few weeks ago we put him on our IR after he cleared waivers. This week we waived him when his shoulder was healthy enough to play. Yesterday the Dolphins claimed him. Has already been basically out played by a guy on our PS all year.

I hope we see more of Austin Traylor the rest of the year!

I'm assuming that is what his point is, but I was just answering the question he asked.

It's not uncommon for 5th rounders to get cut. Doss lasted 2.5 years at least. Derby gave us a little something... It aint like they were 3rd round picks. You want every pick to turn out long term but it just isn't going to happen. Doss would still be on the team if he wasn't late for practice. Derby was sort of an odd cut at this juncture of the season, IMO.

5th round is pretty low risk round. I don't know why it's such a big deal. Doss fell from rd 3 value to round 5, Derby we took a chance on for a low risk 5th rounder. I've got no problems with the pick or the trade. The just didn't turn out long term. Not a big deal to me.
