Union. Don't know much about them, but they were higher seed and at home. I mean Sumner can play on the road. UW? Not so much.

Probably not a good thing to admit on here but I had to go to marriage counseling because I took this shit too seriously. This was back during '93 when the Dawgs lost to Michigan in the Rose Bowl and I kicked out my TV screen. I'm sure it's been stated but I think it's pretty obvious just how big of an influence Tedford had on the success of the offense last year given how the O has performed under Smith all the other years without him.

Tedford and Jon Ross. Ross is a once in a decade player if not lifetime player. He stretched the field and all Browning had to do was throw the ball as far as he could ... which was usually under thrown btw. Ross was always double covered and for good reason which left Pettis one on one so Browning couldn't miss. Now that Tedford and Ross are gone Smith is being exposed for the scrub that he is.

It looked like it would be the other way around.

Stanford looked disorganized.
Their QB had to look up plays taped to his wrist.
They actually huddle, which seems weird nowadays.

It was like this ... the running game was working fine for Washington so of course that scrub OC decided to throw and our QB who is about as useful as tits on a nun when he's being pressured choked in another big road game. UW's defense was out on the field for what seemed like forever and finally they started to run out of steam.

I forgot about Heupel. He always looked like he had down syndrome. Ya I'd put our OC in his league or maybe even worse than Heupel. This OC we have is flat out horrid.
