I stand behind the opinion that player-for-player, this is still a championship-level team. They have just been gut punched so much these past two months that I am not they are capable of doing it this year.

K&K, and our local media really don't give him enough credit either. I know you aren't local and don't watch our broadcasts, but you aren't alone. There is #BeltBash all over the radio every night, even though he's been our best hitter.

I try not to bash him. I think he gets overlooked a lot on this team. However, it just seems this past month he has done nothing. I remind myself because when someone on this board said the very same thing last month about him, I looked up his stats for August and they were much better than what was perceived.

Just watched Brian Price's post-game presser.

I like that guy. He really explained what happened in a very concise way. However, he says that by rule, the umps only have to wait 10 seconds, so there is no grounds for a protest. He said he feels bad for the bind it puts the Giants in.

That is what is so mind-boggling about this terrible run. We have 2 Aces, how do we lose at this clip? Well, we know how.

Well as has been beaten to death, it's not the starting pitching that's been our problem (tzill hasn't gotten the memo). Aces are necessary but you need SOME offense and a bullpen that isn't a flaming bag of shit.

I didn't realize there was 2 days between. With Bums big game history, I think he needs to go in WC game and potential game 4 of NLDS. The long rest for Sammy allows him to go to Pen in mean time. Not a bad thing.

I think MLB needs to make a special rule exception for the save rule just for the Giants' bullpen. If a guy can come on in the 9th and end the game with a 5 run lead, he gets the save.
