I don't get this strategy.

We are totally jam-packed in the OF right now as it is. And why would he want to come to a park that will kill him?

But the argument about doing right by the players is a legit argument.

If they play him, they are making a crowded position even more crowded with an over-paid player.

If they don't play him, it could become an issue in the clubhouse (it shouldn't, but it might).

Actually, Tomlinson, Hernandez, Ruggiano and Ellis knocked out Bumgarner. Kershaw couldn't get a walk.

Ah. Cause there have been national rumors about the Giants intent to go after him. I just don't get it. The puzzle pieces just don't fit that way, IMHO.
