I regret to inform you that the Giants have the bases loaded with no outs B6...I'm taking the pup for a walk.

Who is this Ty Blach fellow? He seems unhittable. Bart, Proctor and Slater didn't even touch any of his 10 pitches thrown that inning.

I didn’t watch, but I see that Miller might just have thrown the first perfect-2 by a Giants reliever yet this season.

Nothing against Blach, he turned into a decent #6/7 MLB starter, journeyman bully piece.

But he is one of the reasons Krukow is “broken” to me. When he established himself in our rotation back in ‘16 or ’17, Kruk did a bit on M&M and he said he was very excited about Blach and he would be a solid fixture in our rotation for the next 6 years. I yelled at my radio at the time and realized right there that Kruk was little more than a Giants company man. He is no more than a barker.

Dont get me wrong. K&K belong in the Hall together. They are great announcers. But they (more Kruk than Kuip, but both of them, still) are super homers and you can’t take any of their critical takes seriously.

edit’

I think I might have this story confused with his comments about Heston. Maybe he said similar things about both, and the combination of the two comments made me see Kruk for the schill that he is.

That's nine consecutive zero opener innings from Brebbia.
The bullpen has looked a lot better in the last two months of the season. The Giants have gotten some good relief from just about anyone they've called up recently (Miller, Cotton, Alexander, Ortiz and even Szapucki). Waites looked shaky in his appearances but worked his way out of those jams. Young has a nice ERA but his WHIP makes me a bit concerned about whether or not he can maintain it. Rogers, Doval and Garcia have all looked much better recently. Littell and Leone getting dumped helped as well. I just don't understand why Marte continues to be with the big league club.
