Wouldn't want to risk it. One of the keys to the Giants' success has been team chemistry. They've never been the best team in the playoffs; only the team that played best together. I wouldn't want to fuck that up with a known douchebag.

At this point, Evans should call Harper to see if Harper would throw in the remaining $3 million.

Wouldn't want to risk it. One of the keys to the Giants' success has been team chemistry. They've never been the best team in the playoffs; only the team that played best together. I wouldn't want to fuck that up with a known douchebag.

This is pretty much my thought process (and I stated it when the Phil's were shopping him).

But I would almost sacrifice the season just to see him try one of his games and see Pence and Bum absolutely destroy him in the dugout.
