Jerome was the best minor league pitcher I ever saw. Electric stuff, pooka shells swirling, just a beast who threw 100 with command.

I was so excited about his potential when he was the top prospect in the farm. I keep thinking he barely pitched in the big leagues but he did appear in 236 games, starting 149 of them.

Edit: And he last pitched professionally in 2018, in the Mexican League. He lasted a long time in professional baseball.
