Was Ron Cey more feared than Edgar Martinez? You also ignored the fact that Ozzie was a 2-hole hitter while Mazeroski was a bottom of the lineup hitter.
In the field he was since Edgar stop playing the field the last 9 years of his career and was never any good when he was in the field.

And at the plate apparently since he was intentionally walked more.

Oh okay you're at the point where you are just being a troll because you've been backed into a corner that you can't logically argue out of
Another one of your holier-than-thou judgements, which is only an opinion but you try to pass off as fact. Not working.

Now, to clarify, I actually think Morneau was a better hitter that year than Pedroia. But Pedroia was a better offensive player due to his ability on the basepaths, and the more deserving player easily because of his positional value and fielding.

Agreed. You simply don't expect a 2nd baseman to have the offensive numbers of a 1st baseman.

Whatever you say. How's Trevor Cahill doing?
Geezuz. You guys stay butthurt a long time, don't you? But, I'm flattered that you can remember conversations you had with me two months ago. I can't honestly remember anything you said 30 minutes ago. It just doesn't leave much impression. Sorry.

Amazing you can't remember the conversation and yet you know what I'm referring to

Yeah, cuz u jarred an irrelevant thought back to a conscious level. Don't worry, it will soon be lost again until you go harping on it again at some point in the future.

So are you going to answer any of the questions that challenge your logic, or will you continue to deflect?

So basically you made a stupid claim, were challenged at the time, your stupid claim has been proven false, and you're upset you got called out on it.

What's up Rock. Who will get the second most receiving yards this Sunday? Hogan? James White? Gronk should be first. But, maybe he'll be a decoy and Duane Allen will rake.
no burkhead, hes out

more catches for dion lewis and white.

allen worries me. the last time we heard form him was at the end of august when he was saying how much harder the pats offense was to learn than the one he was in. he was admittedly behind...

he had no targets on sunday. hes an insane blocker. i COULD see him going out on routes and gronk staying behind to throw teams off tho...you never know.

i think allens role here will be primarily blocking like kyle brady when he was here. i dont tbhink he gets the offense enough to really contribute, but he can block his ass off. there is also word he may be a malcontent in the locker room.

hogan gets a lot sunday. a guy that i can see going off? jacob hollister, especially with gronk hurting a bit. hes the new less murderous aaron hernandez in the offense. bill really likes the kid a lot. played his first NFL game sunday, had 1 grab for 5.

maybe a sleeper

Proven false according to you, which has no value to me. Sorry.

Should be a low scoring game. Like, 20-6 or something like that. I doubt if Watson can engineer a drive to the end zone.

bill shows up former understudies as best he can whenever he can.

bill obrien is 0-3 vs the pats since he left. the pats have outscored houston 88-41 in those games.

avg score is 29-14

Okay. So make your argument that Trevor Cahill is the best pick up of the deadline.
The two single most important stats in baseball are the numbers in the win column and the numbers in the lost column. I'd guess that even you, with your pompously self-perceived baseball knowledge would agree with that.

Cahill has not lost a single game for the Royals. Gray has already lost six for the Yankees.
