Hey I was only alive for the last two. And I only remember the last one. I might have appreciated it more at the time if I thought it would be the last one.

I'm hoping we beat Stanford, then get into the Cotton Bowl against Penn State, or the Orange Bowl against UCF (if it's possible to work out that way).

My point is, a win in one of those bowls will be the biggest bowl win I've seen in my life. I believe our last major bowl win was in '93 vs A&M. I was only 3

That’s correct. The last win in a major bowl was ‘93.

Hey you old fucks, some of us here weren't born in time to see a National Championship.

You missed 1977. Won the national championship in football and went to the final four in basketball. Beat the crap out of USC at home and killed Texas in the Cotton bowl. And did it all with a QB that started the season as a third stringer. All of it with a coach that the students wanted fired. It was great.

Overall it was a good season for ND, especially after what happen last year. I will say we did blow a real chance. If we would of beat Georgia we would still be in it. Miami game we just didnt show up. Now the only thing that can kill this season is a loss against Stanford and a bowl loss. I hope that doesn't happen. This team doesn't deserve that.
