No one wants to start a game day thread? I understand and will take one for the team. However, the Giants are up 2-0 in the 5th. Probably just trying to psyche me out.

I was going to get around to it. Perhaps there was an intentional non-posting of the GDT? It got the Giants a 2-0 lead!

Strat with 6 strong innings!

Belt, Longo, Craw with zip.
Maybe we just need to focus on what is good with this game. Stratton looking good through 6, like you mentioned. Panik 2 for 2 so far. Hundley now 2 for 3 with an extra base hit. Slater with the 2 run single.

7 strong for Strat. He's at 90 pitches. Does he start the 8th? I hope not.

But even when the Giants win, we lose. The Dodgers just got within a game of 1st place in the division, thanks partially to the Giants' win tonight (and those dang Cardinals. Don't they want to make the playoffs?).

Great job by Stratton to shut down Colorado and finally end the long losing streak.

Pre-ASB, the Giants had 40/98 Quality Starts (40.8%)

Post-ASB, the Giants have 26/50 Quality Starts (52%)

For the season,

DRod has 13/16 QS (81%)
Bum has 11/18 QS (61%)
Cueto has 5/9 QS (56%)
Strat has 12/24 QS (50%)
Dutch has 11/28 QS (39%)

Pre-ASB, the Giants' starters were averaging 5.36 innings per start

Post-ASB, the Giants' starters were averaging 5.89 innings per start

We still can't hit, though, but this pitching has been impressive!
