This team does not deserve the pkayoffs. I would actually prefer they NOT make the post season so the FO will be more able to make changes that are needed.

Outside of that, there is only 1 outcome I want to avoid for the season.

Yeah I'd rather just miss them too. To shake things up, and to get the bad news over with and not have our hopes up. Our pen isn't good enough, and our lineup probably isn't either. The thing is the Cards aren't really anything better we might still back in. But I hope we don't.

For me, I'm rooting for the Cubs and Indians at this point. I agree with your stance on the Giants. Unless they really start to show signs of life, like pop off 8 in a row or something, I'd rather not see these guys drag their feet into the playoffs just to lose to a better team.

Not sure if you guys listen to K&K''s regular 7:45 show with Murphy and Mac, but they have been so positive about the G's over the last week or so that it is actually starting to cause some friction with them and Brian Murphy.

If they are still positive tomorrow morning, I may seriously have to reassess if they are the best duo in the game. I understand that they are paid to talk up the Giants, but if you keep the blinders on for this, you really start to lose your respectability.

If they are still positive tomorrow morning, I may seriously have to reassess if they are the best duo in the game. I understand that they are paid to talk up the Giants, but if you keep the blinders on for this, you really start to lose your respectability.

They sounded pretty pissed last night and in the beginning of this game.

They have gotten stale for me, or at least Kruk has. Their infatuation for Connor Gillaspie is odd, but he's pretty old-school like they are so I get why. It's the same thing over and over for these guys.

But as you say, and it goes for any announcer (who want to keep their jobs), they can't get too negative.

I wouldn't sweat it too much, just because not everyone is as gloomy is no reason to hate on them. Their skills are still very good. The team is still a likely playoff team, hard as that is to believe. Murphy was all mad at Pence for staying positive too. That's kind of overdoing it, you want the team to stay positive and keep trying.
