So far post-ASB, they are hitting .325

Any word on Belt? He supposedly went to Pit to see his doctor yesterday, and it was supposed to be the decider on whether he plays again this year or not.

Giants take N' it one day at a time...BEAT L.A. 9-0 KO !!

The Giants clubhouse has to be chirping like a bunch of canneries in a NO CATS ALLOWED hotel. The concentration level is high, the confidence level is sky high, the bats are smoke N", and the pitching has been superb. Tonight the Dodgers ran into a Giants baseball buzz saw and Madison Bumgarner was cutting up the lumber as the Giants banged away 12 hits and also showed patience walking 5 times.

Bumgarner had his Clint Eastwood swagger on the mound again tonight going 7 innings shutting out the Dodgers on 3 measly hits. Bum struck out 9 batters and set the Giants record for a left handed pitcher in strikeouts for one year. Bum stands at 207 K's now and his win / loss record grew to a 18-9 for the 2014 season. He had one real inning where the Dodgers rallied but Bumgarner shut them down in the 5th as he got Gonzalez to fly out with the bags loaded to end the inning. Bum was locked in as he sent the Dodgers to the Wild West grave yard as his left arm had plenty of bullets in it to take them out.

On offence 8 different Giants hitters got a hit with Posey, Arias , and Crawford getting two hits and Craw is now hitting .414 for the month of September. The Giants attacked early scoring 4 runs as all 9 batters came to the plate in the very 1st inning. The MVP of the night was Crawford who hit a long HR into the Arcade area in right and stretched the lead to 6-0 and the Dodgers were looking for the post game spread. Ishikawa hit a complete bomb into the water in right . It was the 67th splash hit in the history of the Giants. That 3 run HR stretched it out to 9-0 Giants and everyone was looking for the white towel. The whole team is on a roll playing together and supporting one another 100%.

A great night at the yard as the Giants win their 10th game in a row at AT&T Park. They just keep rolling along taking it one day at a time and focusing on the task at hand. Lots of smiles everywhere in Giants nation as the belief gets stronger each day and now the Giants are only 1 game back in the West. The Giants flat out kicked the Dodgers ass all over the field and now it's time to keep L.A. down for the count. Hudson gets the ball Saturday vs. Grienke which should be a good match up.

The stars must be aligning - finally BoB selects a great tune, by one of the more underrated bands of the era. Loved Toy Caldwell on the axe, Doug Gray's vocals, and perhaps most understated, Paul Riddle on drums. The other guys were no slouches either - Tommy Caldwell on bass, George McCorkle on rhythm guitar (really complemented Toy), and Jerry Eubanks on flute and sax. They also opened the door for Chuck Leavell, the Stones keyboardist for the last 30 years or so, and he also plays with the Allman's (he really makes "Jessica").

Attended the game last night and the atmosphere was electric. However, your team had to be jerks and make the game a blowout. Rough to watch, but Giants-Dodgers battling for the division and the playoffs in September is as fun as it gets
