I believe the term is "had 'em all the way"Easy win.
I’ve heard it both ways.I believe the term is "had 'em all the way"
First time in the SF era that they have done it while going into the 9th with a goose egg. That's the first time since 1993 that they've trailed by four runs in the ninth and come back to win the game.

Didn't look like he was alive until his last AB ... j/k LMWJrLaMonte Wade, Jr. wasn't alive the last time the Giants won after trailing by four runs in the ninth inning.
While Wood definitely didn’t pitch a great game, or a really good one for that matter, he did get himself out of jams and keep the game within their sites. The third could have been a total disaster but he got out of it only giving up the 2 runs. So I really don’t think it was mound shittery, it could have been a lot worse and then the ninth probably doesn’t happen.
4 IP 80 pitches 7 H 3 BB 4 ER.
The only good thing I can say is he didn't give up a HR.
that's an ERA of 9.00
A WHIP of 2.50
How is that anything but a fecal fiesta?
If you can find good in it, you're a much more optimistic fan than I.Try to find some good in it. After he gave up the walk the D’Backs could have tacked on more. He got the next 3 on 2 K’s and a groundout.

The SP since the ASB: 4.62 ERA, fewer than five innings per start and threw a quality start in just 22.2 percent of games.
That's a problem.
