I actually don't like any of the lines for tonights game. Thornburg is an unknown, so he could go 8 innings of 2 hit ball, or he could be chased in the 3rd. The O/U @ 6.5? Ouch. No thanks...

With a team having trouble scoring, I just cannot understand why Noggin refuses the sac bunt.

Panda and BB9 open the 2nd with singles.

Kiesch flies out

Blanco K's (natch)

Le Grope grounds out

Yeah, I get that if Kiesch sac bunts the runners to 2nd and 3rd, they may not pitch to Blanco. If not, then Le Grope is up with the bases loaded. He could walk into one. There could be a wild pitch. They could squeeze. Even if he does anything but GIDP, we have Moped up with the bases loaded.

Ongoing frustration.

Nice to have a 1-0 lead, on a gift from the Brewers.

Of course, Noggin leaves Le Grope in too long. Hit, 4 pitch walk, double. He hits a wall around 80 pitches. Weren't 6 shutout innings enough? Turn it over to the pen.
