So far, of the four relief pitchers used by the Giants, only Romo has thrown more than 9 pitches. That's good for tomorrow (even if tomorrow's bullpen is overcrowded) but not necessarily for tonight.

It bothers me when closers can't get it done in non-save situations. It just strikes me as being selfish (all about the stat).

I realize this is not necessarily the case, but it just strikes me that way.
