Go Giants!

7-2 good guys

Bum and Cain are in the conversation for the CY award. It's certainly close enough to say that 6-8 guys could win that, depending on what happens down the stretch.

HYPOTHETICALLY (hereby all jinxes are null and void), if he managed to pitch a shutout today and win, he would be 15-7, with an ERA of 2.69, for a first-place club. That would make him a pretty solid contender.

Cueto might still have an edge, and maybe Dickey because he is from NY, and has a story.

Dickey's story, and this year's performance, are pretty amazing.

Let's win the division first, then awards like this can take care of themselves. I don't think MadBum seems to care about the awards. Wouldn't it be intriguing if Melky won the batting title?

I think Melky is 1 plate appearance short to qualify.

They will give him an at bat that counts as an 0-1 to get him to the necessary amount of PA's, which will probably drop him to all of .345

He's going to win it unless Selig steps in and says nuh uhhhhh

Pence with another one of those "worst at-bat of the season."

Yep, saw that one coming. Bumgarner doesn't have it.

Damn that walk to the pitcher hurt bad. Heyward has smoked the ball twice now off of Bum.

Pegzero with a horrible situational at bat. 2 runs would have been huge there.

Yep. Would have been nice to cash in that second run. Looks like Peguero likes the ball down and in, just got fooled by the speed.

Minor is going to dominate the Giants if they meet in the playoffs.

Really? Bochy is a .500 manager? That's surprising.
