Remember when the Giants had the best offense in the NL West? Now, the only team with a worse offense in the NL West is the Padres and they rank with the Tigers, Royals and Marlins as the only teams with a more inept offense than the Giants, per team OPS.

And yet, not the #weaklink (apparently)

I wondered how the team's pitching ranks in ERA and WHIP. They are 15th and 16th, respectively, among MLB teams.

Back to the offense, did you know our best hitter has an OPS of .797 (Belt)? The dude is having a down year, and he's still the top hitter on this team (unless you count Ryder Jones' one game this year, giving him a 1.250 OPS). McCutchen is the only other batter with an OPS over .750. We do have 9 other batters in the lower half of the .700s.
