The problem with trade everybody is that some guys will only get traded if the Giants throw in prospects too. Not going to help a thin farm system.

I'm all for replacing the GM. He has made a lot of bad moves in the past and his drafting hasn't been good for a while. Traded way to much for old players as well. Need some knew better blood in the front office.

Sarcasm can easily be missed on the internet. The GM has made some good moves too but it does seem like he may be reverting back to how things were done in the mid 00s, except the jury is still out on recent drafts.

I know that batting average is overrated but its still sad to look at a lineup that has a 4th outfielder batting .270 and that is the best offered up by the Giants.

I assume you are referring to the backup catcher stealing 2nd base? If so, that does seem to be a rare occurrence.

Anyone else surprised that Posey is still active today, considering he is going to have surgery on Monday? I would have thought he'd be on the disabled list and Garcia would be up with the team. Of course, the Giants may be still trying to save money. But what do they do if McCutchen isn't traded by Monday and they need a 2nd catcher?
