I loved it so much when last year in the ALDS Chiz took him deep.

I definitely questioned Francona there---- Indians had Guyer on the bench who crushes lefties- and Chiz is a lefty bat who historically isnt great against them.

Then he took the big whiner deep for a 3 run bomb. As i said in the AL Central thread- It was glorious.

Problem with Barnes is when he's bad, he's terrible. There is no middle ground.

I don't usually fault a guy for getting an out or two giving up a single and a homer and losing the game that way. But when Barnes is off, it's invariable behind in the count and walk or throw a meatball up there. And then he does it with the next batter.
