Shocking that they did not score after the leadoff double.Giants with the dreaded runner in stranded position.
Casali....nada.
McCray....whiff
Fitz...nada.
Consistently AWFUL.
I assume that this is sarcasm.Shocking that they did not score after the leadoff double.
Go ahead runs driven in after count was 0-2 with 2 outs.Well, once again, our hopes rise after two close wins over an awful team, and then we can't hit or score and waste a good performance by our ace only to get steamrolled in the 9th by an awful team.
We suck.
To be fair, Canha had to hold up in case it was caught. It almost wasWatching behind and haven’t read the thread yet…
Ramos hits a double, with a runner on 2nd, and doesn’t get an RBI.
Only this team. That is ridiculous.

I think most of us here are traditionalists and share this opinion. We just realize that the game is different than how it was when we were kids. What would it have hurt to keep Webb in for the 9th? 93 pitches and still looked strong. Let him start the 9th and pull in he loses control or the Sox start hitting him hard. I know I'm in the minority here, but I'd rather see a someone warmed up who has a handle on the game stay in than turn it over to a cold reliever.
OTOH beautiful day at the park and got to check of seeing the Sox in person.
