Just saw that the Padres have hit grand slams in 4 straight games so I was curious how many home runs that they have total. They are 2nd in the MLB, behind the Dodgers. The Giants? 13th. Hey, that's actually pretty good for this team! (OPS ranks 19th, though)

Heading into tonight's game, they are 36 points from 10th place (the Nationals). They are also 36 points from 23rd place (the Tigers).

Shaun Anderson has really good stuff, but zero control. It's a shame, he really could be a closer, if he didn't walk so many. Tonight, 25 pitches, only 10 for strikes. That's bad.
