1. Gregor Blanco (L) CF
2. Matt Duffy (R) 3B
3. Brandon Belt (L) 1B
4. Buster Posey (R) C
5. Brandon Crawford (L) SS
6. Nori Aoki (L) LF
7. Kelby Tomlinson (R) 2B
8. Ryan Lollis (L) RF
9. Jake Peavy (R) P

The return of Seaweed, and he's hitting down in the order. Man, that Pence injury sucks.

The only rat with Peavy ownage is......Travis Ishikawa; Shark and MVP with Morton ownage. Unfortunately, Oxy is out -- he absolutely kills Morton (9-16 with two triples and a double).

Rat those ratting rats....5-3 good guys.

No Beast or Ishi in the rats lineup...nice bench though.

Another member of their bench is Chris Stewart. Better known as the guy who netted us Kontos from the Yankees (or the guy we had to suffer through after Posey went down).

Marlon Byrd a Giant. Sort of an older Michael Morse who can actually play OF.

we all know how Jon gets with his pronunciations, though. It may just be a very guttural "KA" sound that ends up sounding like a hard "g"

So Leake news is expected tomorrow.

Apparently Heston could be the guy sent down. The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. He could be sent to AAA and just rest, throw some side sessions, whatever. He'd be eligible to return by early September. He is a rookie, and I'd wager that this is near the most innings he's thrown in his career.

All Giants pitchers have been having some serious 1st inning issues over the last couple weeks. These guys are professionals. Why are they not prepared to start the game?

I agree. He can get a 2-3 week rest, then, when he comes back up, he can be in the mix for the final rotation spots (likely with him getting the tie-breaker).

So the takeaway is: don't hit batters.

Not watching. Would Panik have been able to turn the two?
