Mac will be a September call up. Evans said so yesterday on KNBR.Omfg....when is Kelby and Williamson coming back?
After trading for Nunez, you gotta assume the org isn't that high on KT.

Ok, day game tomorrow. Watching wasn't an option anyway...
1-11
The tired old, "Well, we'll get 'em tomorrow" is wearing a wee bit thin.
It's beyond torture.I can take losing if there is little/no expectations on the team, or if the team just flat out sucks.
But this is a championship-level team. This is not fun to watch. Seriously. This is down-right painful.
best seats I've ever had in my life. Second row, behind the plate. Those seats are actually below field level. Eye line is about the knees. And my night rested on EA hitting a sac....sigh....Poor tzill, he's probably already pooped his pants once and his seatmates are probably hashtagged out.
Actually, I was sighing...and figuring at that point that JS was going to crap the mound.TZ must be squirming in his seat
Which makes no sense to me. What did Tomlinson do to lose the org's trust?Mac will be a September call up. Evans said so yesterday on KNBR.

I agree. And I hadn't even connected the dots on that dynamic until I wrote that post.Which makes no sense to me. What did Tomlinson do to lose the org's trust?
Think about what happened before Nunez was traded for. The Giants had Green and Pena (and I think Tejada too, cannot remember when he got dfa'd) on the active roster when Tomlinson came off the dl. None of those guys were removed from the roster. Instead, Tomlinson gets optioned. Then, within a week all three of Tejada, Pena and Green were dfa'd and Nunez was acquired. Go figure.I agree. And I hadn't even connected the dots on that dynamic until I wrote that post.
But why trade for Nunez if you have KT just sitting there unless you don't see KT as much of an asset.
So THIS was the Colin post that killed the game...Adrianza seems to have picked up where he left off in April. After going 1 for 5 in his first games back, he's gotten hits in 3 of his last 6 at bats. He seems to becoming a nice bench option.
I learned my lesson as we went through a similar spate of horrible ball in 2014. I threw in the towel (as no team had ever had as bad a two month stretch as we did and made the playoffs) and promised myself that if we did come back and make the playoffs I wouldn't do that again.
I'm trying (between games) to remain positive. #evenyear
They were something like 15-28 (.349) in that awful stretch in 2014. Assuming that they lose again to PIT and get swept today, they will be on pace for a worse stretch at 9-21 (.300), with a worse BP and pitching overall.
