How so? Once they tied it I didn't think our lollygagging bats could score again. And I was wrong, barely (if Hernandez doesn't double clutch Belt is out at home)

Your obsessions don't change the facts on the field. This team's hitting is worse than its pitching and that's simply true. I wonder how it would have gone if they had even 50 games of the whole team healthy in the same lineup.

You know I agree with you about the true #weaklink being the bats, not the arms. But PLEASE stop woe-ing about the injuries. When you have the oldest team in the bigs, you knowingly sign up for that. I get it. But the Rockets losing Paul for the playoffs is expected and any fan saying “If he were there it would have been different” is a BS comment because Paul NEVER plays in the postseason.

But most of the injuries had nothing to do with age. Bum, Longoria, Mac, Belt, Crawford, Panik, Strickland. Cueto yes. Samardjiza sure. But age had little to do with our meh.

You get a team full of 30+ players and players with injury histories, you know injuries will be a thing. The “what if...” or “If only...” story is not allowed.
