Susser did play in San Jose's game last night, and went 1-4, so there is that going for us.

While this certainly looks likely, I dont think this is official yet. Bochy said after the game that he was woozy, but that they would re-evaluate him tomorrow.

We have lost two legit .300 hitters in the last week. That is not a small deal.

Even though Pagan had been playing while injured and Aoki was coming back from the fracture, apparently there was no need to make a deal for OF depth. Time for more small ball and trying to grind out runs for the time being, like today's damned frustrating game in getting shut down by a somewhat average pitcher.
