How much would it cost for a dog from a shelter, about?
$500 to adopt? Sheesh, I was expecting closer to $100Greatly depends (age of dog, type, health etc.), but I wouldn't expect to pay more than $500 and that will include everything (medicals etc.). I'm pretty sure all shelter dogs are neutered/spayed and you rarely pay for it (that can cost $400-500 itself from a breeder's dog).
If you're really lucky, you can sometimes (edit: usually) find dogs that are already trained, at least with the basics (house/leashed trained) and you don't need to pay for that on your own time.
tz should LOVE this game. It is like 10 of his approved games all in one.
After this win, the Giants are now 6 games back of the D-Backs/Dodgers for the division and 7 games back for both the 1st and 2nd Wild Card, with 5 teams between the 2nd spot and the Giants.

Ok, phew...Nah nah I'm saying you shouldn't expect anything more than that, like that's the high-end
The #weaklink was muy strongIs Holland trying to make the rookie feel better? "See, kid, veterans can suck too?"
Some breeds might not be covered by your ins co.Yup. I got a private back yard and a hedged in front yard. Just screaming for a dog.
French BDs have been recommended. But the short snout leads to health issues later in life. Certainly a possibility, though. Some breeds might not be covered by your ins co.
If there's a dog park near you, make use of it. Socialization is important.
If pure breds are an option for you check out the Vizsla. Very short red hair and great disposition. And French Bulldogs. I'm partial to GSDs but they aren't for everyone as they shed and can be very protective, but they are SMART.
