What does that even mean, 'gave up'? Are they not trying now? They just aren't a good baseball team, I don't see any hustle problems. Those guys are playing...as good as they can.I am sure it really isn’t, in fact, the way it looks, but it certainly LOOKS like the team gave up at the deadline.
Pitiful
Um, speak for yourself. I acknowledged that it created a marketing headache, but I never saw this as a playoff team.In six of the last eight games, the Giants have no hits with RISP that scored any runs. In two games, they had a hit with RISP, but it did not score a run.
Bad stretch right now, especially after the delightful hot streak. I guess we were all fooled by the hot streak. This is really a so-so pitching team, with a great bullpen, and abysmal hitters.
Bad abs. No walks. 1st inning runs given up again. What does that even mean, 'gave up'? Are they not trying now? They just aren't a good baseball team, I don't see any hustle problems. Those guys are playing...as good as they can.

The hot streak was a mirage. But they were doing the little things. They were patient. They were hitting. They weren’t giving up 1st inning runs.
I actually think we may see Joey Rickard. I assume that McCarthy will be left in AAA for now just to see if he can hit consistently there. But Gerber is a very real possibility for getting called up as well.So with Duggar likely headed to the DL, who takes his spot? I would guess that Gerber and McCarthey are the leading candidates.
