The Los Angeles Kings are the only professional hockey team (NHL) yet to eclipse the 80 goal mark for the 2018-2019 season.

Correction, 78. Even better.

They are doing OK defensively tied for 9th at 3.04 GA/G. In years past that would be considered alarming but scoring is up overall so they are doing OK. Sure seems like they are giving up a lot more than that though for some reason.

Never imagined however LA would be literally dead last in the NHL for GF/G.

Weird, I checked ESPN and NHL.com and they both had them at 78.

Regardless, still pathetic although it is nice that they are 3-1-1 in their last 5 and have averaged 3.00 GF/G, big uptick from the 2.22 GF/G they were scoring in the 32 games up to that point.
