Pierre LaCroix broke this team down in '02 after the lockout and killed the team and "new" fanbase. Never really recovered. Denver was actually upset when the Grizzlies had to leave because the Nordiques came in and displaced them

Well it seems like the fan base is building back up, they're headed in the right direction.
