The best 4-9 pitcher in mlb.
2 on for BELT...
Posey still has no RBI's in July.

That means Panik should be traded for a haul.I do like this Hwang kid though. Not sure what that means for Arroyo.

I am not saying I don't like Panik. It is just that 2B is a place of depth in this org, and Panik can (should) get a kings ransom in return.I like Panik more than Arroyo but you might be right

Maybe. But not as much as Panik. Especially right now. Arroyo is out and does not have a good MLB resume.Wouldn't Arroyo get something too?
Look at Yelich or Osuna as an example. Do you think the Marlins would listen to a package centered around Arroyo? If so, what other pieces would need to be included?
How about a package centered around Panik? I am not certain other pieces would even be needed to make that happen.
(Not saying this even makes sense. I don't think the fish need a 2B.)
No rush, either way. Panik or Arroyo (or Moore or Bum, or whomever) could be traded in the off-season. During the deadline, the focus should be on Span, Nunez, Cueto and Hundley. But if someone is willing to pay deadline prices for one of the core players, they should certainly listen. You are probably right, just different from our usual MO, trading away mainstays from the championship teams is different for us, but this year shows it's probably time to be different.
