No rush, either way. Panik or Arroyo (or Moore or Bum, or whomever) could be traded in the off-season. During the deadline, the focus should be on Span, Nunez, Cueto and Hundley. But if someone is willing to pay deadline prices for one of the core players, they should certainly listen.

Unless someone offers a super young monster like Aaron Judge or Mike Trout, Bumgarner is simply not going anywhere. Neither is Posey. Not as sure about Crawford. That's too big a break.

He'll probably have 5 in the All Star game, when they don't count. I guess they really don't count anymore on the Giants. Stokesy, 2017 is over.

Tough to accept.

Posey is hitting .344 with the bases empty, and .242 with RISP. I wonder what other team leaders splits are in those situations. I just seems like Posey's hits do not come at meaningful times this season. And if he is just going to get hits, move him to hit 3rd. Our 3rd position in the batting order has been a disaster this season. Belt hit like .220 there, Pence is no better. Ah, that's all repainting the Titanic, I suppose.

Sure, I don't watch as much, but following a rebuild can be quite enjoyable. More moving pieces, more interesting conversations.
