This was the type of win we saw early in the season. Good starting pitching, power, never give up mentality.

Baseball is a funny game. The Giants were the best team in baseball for 2 months and then one of the worst. We were winning in a "tough" part of our schedule (road series in STL, Cincy, Pit, Atlanta, division rivals) and losing in an "easy" part of the schedule (20 out of whatever home games). It is never predictable, and it's pretty silly to be arguing about this in early July. We're in the playoffs still now, and we have help on the way. I haven't seen as much baseball as many of you, but I still know that it has a funny way of playing things out.
