Bochy just doesn't have the tools to make anything nice this year. Basically, the only guys I want back from this bully are Melancon, Smith, Dyson and Crick. Everyone else can gtfo.

Why do they keep running these guys out there? Kontos is now 5-5 with inherited runners in the 2nd half, and he and Gearrin are both at or over allowing 50% to score. Bring them into a clean inning if needed. But criminy, does Noggin have a learning difficulty?

Isn't Bochy better than this? He should realize that he has more flexibility in the middle innings than Gearrin and Kontos. Bring in Strickland or Dyson for crying out loud!

Haven't seen the movie but know the story. This season has felt like horrible nightmare. I really do think just tanking the rest of the season will be the only way to salvage anything from it but it still feels hard to see this team play so poorly. Maybe its the emotions from watching that movie, but I feel like just giving up on following this team the rest of the season.

The White Sox fans are pretty hard to convince too. To be fair their current team is worse than these Giants (but not by much).

They didn't always suck though. Relievers are weird, they can be great one year and suck the next. Remember Jean Machi?

He is a good player, and I would be fine having him back, but he isn't a needle-mover. I would just assume put every available dollar (do we even have any of those?) into the bully. Maybe some late-off-season bat-adds.
